Before season 6 ended, M1 announced that season 7 would be the last, citing budget cuts and lack of interest in continuing the franchise. It was dubbed Komédia iskola: Búcsú (Comedy school: Farewell). Filming started in mid-April.

Season 8 (2021, the comeback)

In January 2021, Duna won the rights to a reboot, for which filming started in April and was reimagined due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Hungary.
